  • Conduct regular school meetings to address schools attendance concerns
  • Action referrals for attendance below 95% which have been agreed
  • Conduct parent meetings at school and or home visits
  • Explanation of legal responsibility pertaining to school attendance
  • Facilitate safe and well checks
  • Immediate action for safeguarding concerns
  • Facilitate legal action and attend court cases
  • Work with minority groups, i.e. Traveller families
  • Signpost and liaise with other agencies and professionals
  • Give advice regarding attendance and welfare concerns
  • Give advice regarding the correct coding of registers
  • Give phone and email advice:- Monday-Friday 8:00am – 6:00pm
